Questions about Halloween have been popping up under the election topics. Hmmm…interesting. I thought it would be fun to talk about those things, so share your ideas and ask questions right here! :) What is your favorite memory from Halloween? What are you dressing up as for Halloween? And of course the big question: What is Miss Coon dressing up as this year? What do you think?

In class, we have just started discussing the process of election and how it works. When the topic of Democrats and Republicans came up, we really couldn't figure out how to define them. So I did some research and here is a site on Scholastic that really helps with the explanation. Click on the image to visit the site. Today we had the privilege of having Miss LeClair, a Deaf Ed student teacher from Illinois State University, join our classroom and sign a book to us. The students loved watching as she shared different words and sayings to us and even taught us how to say some things. We got to trace our hands on paper and make the "I Love You" sign to take home and give to someone we love. Thank you so much Miss LeClair for visiting our class! You are a wonderful teacher. |
Meet Mrs. PriceI love to learn new things! One great place to learn is by spending time in nature and the outdoors with my husband, David! Any opportunity that we can get to take a bike ride, hike, or walk we will take it! I also love music and enjoy playing my flute at church and singing. I also love learning with kids. My passion is to join children as they inquire, and teach them to cultivate their love for learning about this incredible world. Let's get started! CategoriesArchives
