Following the campaign process, it was time to set the stage for the big moment: the election speeches. Nervous feelings filled their stomachs as they waited anxiously for their turn to arrive that would carry them to the front of the classroom ready to deliver their speech. They hid their true feelings very well as they spoke with clear and confident voices sharing how they would be the best candidate for classroom president. It has all been exciting and fun! The results of this campaign, you ask? The vote has been taken and counted. The president of Miss Coon's class 2015 is Michaela. Her vice president is Emma. Congratulations to those hired for office and fantastic job to all third graders! Everyone worked very hard! | Yesterday and today we held an election in our classroom for a student president to lead our meetings. The students have worked hard writing convincing speeches to persuade their peers why they are the best candidate for the job. They began the campaign process and created posters that caught their friends attention. The marched around the classroom walking around telling people to vote for them! Check out the video to the left of their campaign in action. From convincing their friends through lofty promises to even bringing in cupcakes to focus their attention on one candidate, these students really know what it means to campaign. |

Meet Mrs. PriceI love to learn new things! One great place to learn is by spending time in nature and the outdoors with my husband, David! Any opportunity that we can get to take a bike ride, hike, or walk we will take it! I also love music and enjoy playing my flute at church and singing. I also love learning with kids. My passion is to join children as they inquire, and teach them to cultivate their love for learning about this incredible world. Let's get started! CategoriesArchives
