The classroom is currently under a transformation! I have decided to move from desks to tables this year and I am looking forward to learning so much in this new arrangement and how to best support my student's needs and interests. Because the room is so small, tables provide more space for students to walk around the room and transition from one space to the next. So here is where you come in: Do you have any suggestions or comments about this arrangement? One question you might have is: "Where will the students put all of their materials?" Students will have chair pouches that hang on the back of their chair to put notebooks and folders in. They will also have a book box that is located on a cart in the classroom library to put their response journals and selected books they are currently reading. I believe learning occurs through social interaction and that students background knowledge is essential to the learning of our classroom community. My desire is that this arrangement reflects the importance of each individual; they are valued and their thoughts and beliefs are important and need to be shared and heard by their peers.

Meet Mrs. PriceI love to learn new things! One great place to learn is by spending time in nature and the outdoors with my husband, David! Any opportunity that we can get to take a bike ride, hike, or walk we will take it! I also love music and enjoy playing my flute at church and singing. I also love learning with kids. My passion is to join children as they inquire, and teach them to cultivate their love for learning about this incredible world. Let's get started! CategoriesArchives
